6  URGENT BUSINESS IF ANY INTRODUCED BY THE CHAIRMAN - Note No other business is permitted unless by reason of special circumstances which shall be specified at the meeting the Chairman is of the opinion that the item(s) should be considered as a matter of urgency.
7  EXCLUSION OF PRESS AND PUBLIC - It is recommended that members of the press and public be excluded from the meeting during consideration of the following item(s) of business in accordance with Section 100A(4) of the Local Government Act 1972 on the grounds that it involves the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in Part 1 of Schedule 12A to the Act and as in all the circumstances of the case the public interest in maintaining the exemption under Schedule 12A outweighs the public interest in disclosing the information. The nature of the exempt information and the relevant exemption paragraph is shown in brackets after the report title.
8  APPOINTMENT OF EXECUTIVE MANAGER REGENERATION AND ESTATES (Labour relations - paragraph 4) - In connection with the appointment of the Executive Manager Regeneration and Estates a. to consider and agree questions for use during the interview of the candidates referred to below b. to interview the undermentioned candidates in accordance with the timetable to be circulated at the meeting by the Human Resources Manager Ms J Traverse Ms Burns Mr D Milburn (note an information pack in relation to the candidates has been circulated to members of the Committee) c. having conducted the interviews to assess the candiates and detemine which should be made an offer of employment in connection with this post.
