To set out details of a proposed business unit
scheme at Junction 4, Skelmersdale.
Consideration was given to the report of the Director of Housing & Environment, as contained on pages 351 to 370 of the Book of Reports, which detailed a proposed business unit scheme at Junction 4, Skelmersdale.
A Motion to approve the recommendations in paragraph 2 of the report was moved and seconded.
An Amendment to the Motion, circulated prior to the meeting, was moved and seconded, which sought to dispose of the site with current planning consent.
A vote was taken on the Amendment, which, at the request of a Member, was recorded as follows:

A vote was taken on the original Motion, which was CARRIED.
RESOLVED:
A. That the proposed new Junction 4 Business Unit scheme as set out in the report be approved.
B. That the Director of Housing and Environment be given delegated authority to take all necessary steps and actions and to procure and enter such contracts that are required to deliver the scheme.
