Nominations were sought for the appointment of Chairman for the meeting and it was proposed and seconded that Councillor Hennessy be appointed Chairman for the meeting.

 

RESOLVED              That Councillor Hennessy be appointed Chairman for the meeting.

RESOLVED              That the Procedure be noted.

Exclusion of press and public

It is recommended that members of the press and public be excluded from the meeting during consideration of the following item of business in accordance with Section 100A(4) of the Local Government Act 1972 on the grounds that it involves the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in paragraphs 1 and 2 (Information relating to any individual/identity of an individual) of Part 1 of Schedule 12A to the Act and as, in all the circumstances of the case the public interest in maintaining the exemption under Schedule 12A outweighs the public interest in disclosing the information.

Minutes:

RESOLVED      That under Section 100A(4) of the Local Government Act 1972, the public be excluded from the meeting during consideration of the following item of business on the grounds that it involves the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in paragraphs 1 & 2 (an Individual) of Part 1 of Schedule 12A of that Act and as, in all the circumstances of the case, the public interest in maintaining the exemption under Schedule 12A outweighs the public interest in disclosing the information

Complaint of Breach of Code of Conduct - LG5/85

Minutes:

The Sub-Committee considered the report of the Borough Solicitor to decide whether to refer the complaint for investigation or to take no further action.

 

RESOLVED  (A)    That no further action be taken in connection with the complaint.

 

                        (B)    That the Borough Solicitor give notice in writing to the Complainant and Subject Member of the decision at (A) above.
