RESOLVED:

That planning application 2023/0922/FUL relating to Land to West of Appley Lane North, Appley Bridge be refused against officer recommendation on grounds of impact on the amenity of local residents and the nearby school.

 

  1. The proposal by virtue of the excessive comings and goings of heavy goods vehicles (HGVS) would give rise to adverse impacts on the living conditions of residents of Appley Lane North, and adverse impacts on the visitors and pupils of the All Saints School and is therefore contrary to Policy GN3 of the West Lancashire Local Plan 2012-2027 and the relevant provisions of the National Planning Policy Framework revised December 2023.

 

  1. The proposal by virtue of the excessive levels of light pollution would give rise to adverse impacts on the living conditions of residents of Appley Lane North and is therefore contrary to Policy GN3 of the West Lancashire Local Plan 2012-2027 and the relevant provisions of the National Planning Policy Framework revised December 2023.
