To confirm agreement for West Lancashire
Borough Council to join in the commissioning of a Recreation
Mitigation Strategy by Sefton Metropolitan Borough Council jointly
on behalf of West Lancashire Borough Council and the Liverpool City
Region Authorities of Halton, Knowsley, Liverpool, Sefton, St
Helens and Wirral Councils.
In so doing, to confirm agreement that, as the procuring body,
Sefton's policies and procedures would be used to acquire the
services required and therefore West Lancashire Borough Council's
own Contracts Procedure Rules set out at Section 12 of the
Constitution are waived.

Decision:
i) Agreement for West Lancashire Borough
Council to join in the commissioning of a Recreation Mitigation
Strategy by Sefton Metropolitan Borough Council jointly on behalf
of West Lancashire Borough Council and the Liverpool City Region
Authorities of Halton, Knowsley, Liverpool, Sefton, St Helens and
Wirral Councils.
ii) Agreement that, as the procuring body, Sefton's policies and
procedures would be used to acquire the services required and
therefore West Lancashire Borough Council's own Contracts Procedure
Rules set out at Section 12 of the Constitution are waived.
iii) West Lancashire Borough Council enter into a contract with
Sefton Metropolitan Borough Council in relation to the procurement
of the aforementioned services.
